Apologies for my lack of posts — I have been rather distracted with pregnancy and the birth of my adorable little baby boy. It has been a wonderful time, but, whilst being exhausted, I did not have many exciting outings to report on. Until now. I am back, and it’s London Fashion Week which so far has been epic.
Kicking off with Naomi Campbell’s Fashion for Relief show at Somerset House. A star-studded line up, with faces from stage to screen, graced the runway to raise funds to fight Ebola. I loved the party atmosphere, as did the models, who broke into dance mid strut down the catwalk — Jourdan Dunn and Vivienne Westwood to name but a few.
Last night my dear friend Jade Ewen and I ventured first to the Sorapol presentation. Their creative and luxurious pieces have been featured in Tatler, Elle, Harpers Bazaar, Nylon, Vogue, Dazed and Confused and Wonderland amongst others, and they have dressed the likes of Nikki Minaj and Azaelia Banks. I adore their sumptuous fabrics and hand embroidered embellishments.
Next it was Gyunel, a show with a post apocalyptic survivor theme. Ella Eyre performed her hit “Gravity” before the models emerged.
Finally, it was the launch of Very Exclusive — a new luxury fashion website. Good times
