My Conversation With Mayor Bill de Blasio

Tonight I’m joined by New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, who was elected in a landslide in 2013. The high cost of living has made life increasingly difficult for low-income residents of the Big Apple. To address this issue, Mayor de Blasio has set forth a sweeping anti-poverty agenda, which features an ambitious housing plan that aims to build and preserve 200,000 units of affordable housing over the next decade.

In the clip below, Mayor de Blasio discusses the growing problem of homelessness in New York, explaining why he disagrees with the stance New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has taken.
