Global stability tops power women agenda

THE day- long Women In The World summit held on Friday at The Taj Mahal Hotel, was abuzz with the strong presence of women leaders and conversation on global stability in an age of political and social crisis. The event that is the brainchild of Tina Brown, renowned media personality, and founder of the Women in the World summit, saw women leaders, politicians, activists and political change- makers from across the world come together for the seventh edition of the summit. The Delhi event covered topics as varied as the refugee crisis of Syria and Burma, the recovery of Nigeria’s kidnapped girls, social innovation in rural India, reactions to the Paris bombings, solar power and female entrepreneurs and violence against domestic help as spoken by the family- members of Kasthuri Munirathinam.
