Honour for Saoirse Ronan at Palm Springs fest

Los Angeles, Nov 14 (IANS) Actress Saoirse Ronan is set to be honoured at the upcoming 27th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF) next year. The 21-year-old actress will receive the International Star Award at the Awards Gala held on January 2 at the Palm Springs Convention Center here, reports aceshowbiz.com. "From her unforgettable roles in 'Atonement', 'The Lovely Bones', 'Hanna' and 'The Grand Budapest Hotel', we have seen Saoirse grow from a young girl to the accomplished actress she is today," festival chairman Harold Matzner said.
