Because after Leicester's comprehensive 3-1 win at Manchester City on Saturday, the delicious tale, one embraced by all neutrals, of the Midlands no-hopers, 5,000-1 outsiders at the start of the season, began to take on a different flavour. Instead, as they pondered a five-point lead at the top of the table, it was time to heed the words of playmaker Riyad Mahrez who declared: "Now we're going to fight for the title".
